The Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus (AGMC) cordially invites you, your friends, family, and business colleagues to participate in the first annual Circle of Friends online fundraising campaign. We are asking a select group of our friends - old and new - to make an extraordinary commitment to help AGMC continue its mission to entertain, educate, unite and uplift audiences and members through music that is distinguished for its innovation, diversity and artistic excellence.
The Circle of Friends campaign is an online fundraising effort to unite people in supporting AGMC’s continued growth and vision as an essential and vital fabric of Atlanta’s arts community. This interactive fundraising campaign includes all the fun and excitement of a traditional fundraising event without the sweat and blisters of walking in a fundraising walk-a-thon or attending another boring gala event. The Circle of Friends campaign enables more participation, more funds raised and more awareness because time, location and mobility are no longer barriers. Can anyone participate in the Circle of Friends campaign?
YES! That is the wonderful thing about this fundraising and awareness effort. Friends, family members, and coworkers from all over the globe who want to join you in the effort to raise money and awareness for can participate.
How do I get involved?
It’s Easy! Register online by clicking the “Register Here” button at the top of this page. Once registered, you will have the opportunity to create your own personal web page, and make personalized appeals that include a photo and personal message. This makes asking and donating fun, effective and easy. You can create your Personal Fundraising Page in minutes, and e-mail the link to your family, friends and business colleagues.
Can I form a team to participate in the Circle of Friends campaign?
YES! Participating as a team is fun, and also serves as great reason for friends and family groups to get together for a common goal! It is a way to show support for AGMC. You can motivate each other and challenge each Circle of Friends team member (or other teams) into a fundraising frenzy!
What is the minimum fundraising amount?
Although there is no registration fee or minimum amount required to participate, we encourage all participants to raise as much money as they can.
